Who and what is behind the granary

The Eisenmann family introduces themselves

If old beams could talk, they would have a lot to tell. The granary - today a place of peace and relaxation - was once the heart of farm work at the Knollnhof. It served as a granary for hundreds of years. It is said that it was unusually large for its time - so large that not only one farmer stored his grain here, but several from the surrounding area.

Then as now, the granary was a place where people came together. It used to be farmers, today it's guests and locals - the Knollnhof has remained what it always was: a place for encounters.

A family, a farm, a project close to our hearts

We – Magdalena and Andreas Eisenmann – live and work together with our sons Lorenz and Kilian at the Knollnhof. We run the Kornkammer Apartments as a family – with heart, hand and a great deal of dedication.

Our heart project: the Alpine lofts “Mondholz” and “Naturklang”. With great attention to detail, two very special retreats were created from the historic granary – our apartments.
What makes us particularly proud: Our two boys were there from the start - critical, imaginative and full of enthusiasm. Many small details – especially for children – come directly from their thoughts.

What real luxury means to us

For us, luxury doesn't mean having the biggest spa area or the longest infinity pool.
For us, luxury means to create space – for good conversations, quiet moments, laughing together, a good book. For time with the people who really matter to you.

That’s exactly what you feel in our apartments – inside and outside.
Every detail bears our signature. Everything is designed so that you can relax, feel good and feel the power of nature.

A place to arrive

We hope that every guest - whether alone, as a couple, family or group of friends - finds their place in the Kornkammer apartments.
A place where you can let go of everyday life and come to terms with yourself.

Come by, feel welcome –
with us in the granary at Knollnhof.
